The government support available to Canadians during this time is changing frequently; here’s a link to the current details for you and your business. Sign up to have your Canada Emergency Response Benefit and other Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) payments deposited directly into your account, providing you secure access to your funds, faster!

While we remain available in branch for essential services, we continue to practice physical distancing and encourage you to call (877) 202-5722 or the branch directly before visiting us. We’ve ensured our Team is available to support you safely with increased phone support, alternating shifts in branch, and working from home whenever possible. 

In Thunder Bay, our branches on Algoma St and Syndicate Ave are temporarily closed. Our branch at 955 Alloy Dr (along Harbour Expressway across from the Superstore) remains open Monday-Friday 930-5.  Our Nestor Falls branch is also temporarily closed; please visit the Sioux Narrows branch Monday-Friday between 10-4.

There are some new financial supports in place for our credit card holders including payment deferrals for up to 6 months, emergency limit increases for Canadians trying to get home, and increased tap limits at grocery stores and pharmacies.

One area that’s changing is fraud. Scammers are using phone, email and texts to target people who are working from home, looking for information about COVID-19 or government support, or even just trying to help our community. At the end of the day our advice is to stop, look, and think before you give out personal information or click links.
