To start, we’ve donated almost $20,000 to COVID-19 specific causes, including:

Click on the links above for more information or to help, and watch for more community efforts as we all try to figure out how to get through this, and of course get back on track.

In many cases, financial plans should remain on track, but in others it may be time to reassess to make the most out of your savings, debt, equity and investments.

If you experience an interruption to your income a payment deferral is a great option for temporary relief, but it’s important to understand the long-term impact and have a plan for the end of the deferral period.

The government support available to Canadians during this time is changing frequently; here’s a link to support available for you and your business. Sign up to have your Canada Emergency Response Benefit and other Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) payments deposited directly into your account, providing you secure access to your funds, faster!

Many of us are approaching the second month of major disruption, and it’s hitting businesses especially hard. With new details being provided almost daily by the Government of Canada, it can be daunting to sift through all the new information. For some clarity, check out Managing Your Business Through COVID-19 Part Two. We remain on track to provide Business Members access to the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) by the end of April, watch for details as soon as they’re available and don’t be afraid to reach out to your Relationship Manager to start the process anytime.

Social distancing likely means you’re spending less day to day, and with the current market uncertainty saving money is important. Here are 5 easy ways to stretch your budget while making the most of this time.

We remain open for essential services such as opening accounts, updating signers, and estates, however we encourage you to call (877) 202-5722 before coming in. Stay happy and healthy, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like any help or advice.

While we remain available in branch for essential services, we continue to practice physical distancing and encourage you to call (877) 202-5722 or the branch directly before visiting us. We’ve ensured our Team is available to support you safely with increased phone support, alternating shifts in branch, and working from home whenever possible.

Keeping safe

COVID-19 has changed everything about our lives. From how we interact to how we transact, and we’re here to ensure you and our communities stay safe and strong throughout.

One area that’s changing is fraud. Scammers are using phone, email and texts to target people who are working from home, looking for information about COVID-19 or government support, or even just trying to help our community. At the end of the day our advice is to stop, look, and think before you give out personal information or click links. Read more about what to watch out for, how to protect yourself, and what to do if you’ve been a victim of fraud

Keep up to date

Every day we learn something new about COVID-19; we’ll continue to share updates here and on Facebook as we learn more. You’ve put your trust in Copperfin, and we remain committed to supporting you and keeping you informed.

Thank you for being a part of Copperfin.
